Maternity bras have evolved from rather unappealing beige items into beautiful and feminine bras. They are made in a huge range of soft, comfortable and supportive fabrics. There are many different styles of maternity or nursing bras available and it can be confusing when buying one.

Just Lovely’s trained fitters specialise in the needs of pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. Expectant and new mothers are offered personal service, with staff taking time to ensure a comfortable fit. Your changing needs, as you move from pregnancy through to established breastfeeding, are understood by our staff.

The right time to be fitted for a maternity bra varies from woman to woman. At Just Lovely we recommend a fitting around four months, if you haven’t needed fitting earlier, as most of the changes to the breast have occurred by this time. We stock many different styles of maternity bra including plus-size maternity bras. It is important to open and close the bra cup when trying on different styles as some may be easier than others.

Many women prefer an underwire bra however this style of bra is not recommended during pregnancy or lactation. When breastfeeding, the breasts increase and decrease in size during the day as milk is produced and removed. Although the change in breast size may only be slight, a rigid underwire puts pressure on the breast tissue, which can lead to blocked milk ducts or mastitis.

Based in Colac, Just Lovely is the fit specialist from Geelong to Warrnambool. For beautiful and appealing maternity bras combined with professional fitting service and advice. Just Lovely
